I have been in love with my wife for over 32 years! in that time we have raised three wonderful children. As a couple, our relationship has been able to flourish because we have placed God at the center of our marriage and have chosen to lean into the commitment we made to each other. We decide each day to choose-love. We also laugh together, play together, cry together, serve together, and go on adventures together! We even argue together… Yes, that is a thing… But we also enjoy “making-up” together. I personally enjoy backpacking, camping, old cars, woodworking, and pretty much anything that involves the outdoors!

Being an officiant was born out a passion to serve couples and to see marriages begin well. I believe that love is the foundation for all marriage. Whether someone is religious or not, love conquers all. The Apostle Paul said: “These three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” and I couldn’t agree more! Love gives us eyes to see our spouse differently and gives us the strength to love them well.
